Receiver Products :: Radio Frequency Distributions (RFDs)
Radio Frequency Distributions (RFDs) are typically a collection of filters, switches and amplifiers packaged together to match antennas with RF tuners/receiver channels. The purpose of the RFD is to set the system noise floor such that optimum ELINT/ESM system performance can be obtained. Typical parameters of interest are dynamic range and system sensitivity. The RFD is located either at the antenna subsystem or as close to the antenna subsystem as possible.
